This Web site is owned by Build The Village Online, a Limited Liability Company ("BTVO"). BTVO provides unconditional Internet access only and does not control any third-party material from authorized or unauthorized externally linked Web sites to BTVO's Web sites. BTVO shall not be liable for the content or accuracy of information located on any such externally-linked Web pages.

HOW WE PROTECT AND USE CUSTOMER INFORMATION

We safeguard the security and integrity of customer information. We are committed to protecting the security and integrity of customer information through procedures and technology designed for this purpose. For example: We limit employee access to customer information to those who have a business reason to know this information. Employees are required to honor our code of conduct, which includes standards to protect customer confidentiality. They are subject to disciplinary action if they fail to do so. For each visitor to our Web site ("User"), our Web server will automatically recognize the User's domain name, but not the User's e-mail address. BTVO collects and stores the domain name, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, the aggregate information on the Web pages that Users access or visit, and any and all information volunteered by the User, such as survey information and/or information we seek for site registration. The User information collected by BTVO will not be shared with or sold to any third party person or organization other than what may be required in resolution of disputed purchases or commissions

In the event the User believes this report information is inaccurate or incomplete the User may contact Build the Village Online at contact@btvo.org. After verifying the nature of the problem BTVO may follow-up with the merchant as part of the solution. In contacting BTVO at contact@btvo.org and asking for BTVO to resolve purchase and commission data, the User automatically grants BTVO and the Merchant permission to share what personally identifiable information is necessary to resolve the issue. After resolution of the issue BTVO will destroy all personally identifiable information obtained in the research and will not disclose or share it with other third parties.

Your name and/or email address is used to provide the participating organization with summary data on the number of users and the amount of commissions earned. The reports only include the total dollar amount of purchases and cash back reward, and do not indicate from what merchant the purchase was made and does not indicate the product purchased. BTVO does not control or monitor the data collection practices of its affiliates linked to or through this site, and Users should carefully review, understand and agree to the privacy policies and data collection activities of these affiliated and linked sites.

BTVO places Internet cookies on our Users' hard drives. A cookie is a small file that is sent from BTVO's Web server to a Users' personal computer. This file contains information about a User's visit to BTVO's Web site that only BTVO's server can read. The cookies are stored on the User's hard drive and are not stored, in any form, by BTVO. Information derived from reading the cookie is stored by BTVO and is protected under the terms of BTVO's corporate data privacy/security policy. Cookies are used to enhance a User's return visit to BTVO's Web site. Users may decline the cookies by using the appropriate feature of their Web browser software, but by doing so, may experience a decrease in functionality. When applicable, cookies are used to verify the User's authorization to access certain BTVO Web pages and/or to monitor access to linked sites.

From our web sites, we do not knowingly collect or use personal information from children under 13 without containing verifiable consent from their parents. Should a child whom we know to be under 13 send personal information to us, we will only use that information to respond directly to that child, seek parental consent, or provide parental notice.
